About

Describing itself as a fully immersive gastronomic experience, Park Row is a DC comics-themed restaurant on Soho’s Brewer Street which restaurant geeks may remember as Marco Pierre White’s Titanic and was until recently the Danish steakhouse Mash.

Named after an area of Batman’s fictional hometown Gotham City, Park Row consists of five different dining areas, all offering different styles of food and drink; what they all have in common however, is that they take their inspiration from the iconic characters and stories from DC. From Harley Quinn-themed food to a lounge inspired by Batman villain The Penguin, everything at Park Row is geared towards fun.

Set in a grade II-listed building which was originally part of The Regent Palace hotel, the multi-room space is as art deco-tastic as Gotham City itself. Featuring a secret entrance modelled on the Batcave, which leads you into the main dining room, the excitement begins from the moment you step inside.

The first area you see when you emerge from the Batcave is Pennyworth’s – named after Batman’s butler Alfred Pennyworth – serving classic British dishes inspired by history. Meanwhile for counter-top dining, the Harley Quinn-inspired omakase is fun from the off and serves equally playful food to match. Or if you want something a bit more immersive, head over to the Monarch Theatre which offers a multi-sensory tasting menu complete with 360-degree projections while you’re eating.

If you’re more about drinking and chilling out, Park Row has plenty to offer in that department too with speakeasy Old Gotham City serving creative cocktails alongside a selection of sharing plates. Alternatively there is The Penguin’s large Iceberg Lounge which serves guests a variety of different drinks and international food, whilst also benefitting from live entertainment. Park Row promises to be a great all-rounder even if you’re not a DC fan.

Fabulous Marvel DC inspirational restaurant

What a fabulous evening we had at this DC inspired restaurant. My son is a huge fan so this was a real treat for him. The whole restaurant offers surprise after surprise from the decor to the food and drink to the hospitality. Great tasting menu. Thanks to the staff for all their efforts in making this a real occasion.

Ruined date night

We booked this restaurant on a Sunday for a nice relaxed date meal. The website said jazz would be playing and offered a classy dining experience. On arrival they had booked the entire place out for a love island brand event, and not told us prior to turning up. We were sat right next to the event, had to shout over each other to speak to one another, and had to listen to blaring tiktok music all night. If we had been contacted before we would have re-booked. The staff, whilst nice and apologizing for the mix-up, were busy tending to the event and we were just an add-on all night. Our chill sunday date night was ruined - no money was offered to be taken from the bill, and after emailing we received a late reply offering a meagre 25% off next visit. Not really good enough.

My new favourite restaurant in London!

Wow, wow, wow.

Park Row where have you been all my life! Just when i thought there weren't any fun restaurants in London and this belter opens up (i believe last Summer). This is my fifth time visiting the restaurant and it consistently never fails to impress. The food, subtly inspired by DC but not overtly so (or done in any gimmicky way), is 10/10. The service always friendly and knowledgeable and a surprisingly comprehensive and interesting wine list (ask for the Private Cellar secret list for the fancier bottles).

There's a lot to love here. I can't recommend it enough if you are looking for somewhere different (finally) in London to take a date or group of friends.

Needs 2 reviews....

If I were to review this restaurant for the ambience and quality of food it would easily be 5 star.  I started with a posh prawn cocktail (the langustine on top made it posh!) and then had a burger, the menu is very much simple food done well.  Another one of our party had the steak, at £40 not unlike the rest of the menu is a little toppy but given the ambience and location maybe worth it.  All in all a very pleasenet dinner, food and service all excellent dinner for 4 (2 adults 2 kids) came in at smidge under £400.

However if I were to write a review of a 'DC' themed restaurant it was a little disappointing, a frozen penguin ice sculpture made the main restaurant well I'm not sure...  A few pictures on the wall as a nod to the Wayne mansion I think and now I am struggling on the other DC references that may or may not of been there.  So far from the 'imersive experience'.  The entrance is fun though I'll not spoil here.

Nice restaurant, not DC though.

Sorry, you cannot spend SquareMeal vouchers here yet.
