The Old Spike is a coffee house and roastery located in Peckham, close to a number of shops, cafes and bars. The Old Spike is a social enterprise which donates 65% of all profits directly to supporting people experiencing homelessness. The Old Spike is also a place those experiencing homelessness can gain new skills and a job, with coffee at the heart of this programme, used as a vehicle for social change.
The Old Spike opened in 2014 with a cafe on Peckham Rye, they have since opened a training academy to help support those joining their programme, and run a number of sister companies all of which support the scheme.
