About

The Hotel du Vin group are well known for their high-end hostelries as well as the accompanying restaurants that run alongside them. In the Bristol branch of this popular chain lies the Bistro du Vin Bristol – a focal point of the space and somewhere to grab a bite to eat at any time of the day.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, whatever you find yourself needing you’ll be able to settle yourself into the comfortable surrounds for a hearty feed. With wood panelled walls, large polished round tables and plush upholstered leather chairs the space itself feels luxurious, and with attentive, knowledgeable staff running the dining room you really do find yourself in safe hands here. Aside from waiters and waitresses there is always a Sommelier on hand too, to help you match wines and drinks to your chosen dishes; a nice touch which ensures your meal is a fully rounded experience.

Breakfast sees freshly ground coffee and top-end teas served alongside a whole host of excellent ways to start your day. Pack in the protein with grilled kippers or a full English or go a little lighter with a healthy bowl of granola and Greek yogurt or a simple dippy egg and soldiers.

Lunch and dinner see a more substantial range of dishes on offer, with plenty of different styles and cuisines to pick between. Classic cassoulets and steaks sit side by side with steamed artichokes and bearnaise sauce or plant-based burgers. For something truly sumptuous why not treat yourself and your dinner date to a sharing platter of either chateaubriand steak or a sea bass en croute – these are guaranteed to impress.

Bistro du Vin Bristol also has private dining rooms, which can be hired for special occasions if you’d like to treat family, friends or colleagues to an exclusive celebration.
