Located on the ground floor of the historic Lloyds Bank building, Hispania is a 9,000 square foot flagship for Spanish cuisine, food and culture through its license to operate as a resturant, shop, bar and takeaway service. The interiors are grand with lofty ceilings, shiny, clean tiled floors and an eye-catching central staircase that connects the two floors.
Designed by interior designer and antique dealer Lorenzo Castillo and co-ordinated by award-winning chef Marcos Moran, Hispania offers a wide range of Spanish food in a beautiful, impressive setting. The bars combine Spanish materials in marble, zinc and custom-made furniture with a classically-crafted menu that shows off Spanish tapas and local specialities.
Hispania's food menu offers a selection of cured meats and cheese, as well as a range of cold and hot tapas. These include steak and tuna tartar, croquetas, paprika mashed potatoes with octopus as well as classics like Ibérico pork and Padrón peppers. For main courses, diners can indulge in either fish or meat dishes with most dishes served alongside potatoes and a well-paired sauce or emulsion. If you're dining in a group of eight, consider ordering 24 hours in advance and selecting the whole roasted suckling pig. Hispania brings a theatricality to your dining experience with its Segoviana style pig that is carved in the traditional style in front of you and your guests.
In the bar, an impressive drinks menu awaits you with an extensive list of wines from all across Spain. Aside from wines, guests can choose between gins, sherry, whiskey, beers and a selection of cocktails. The cocktail list includes some popular classics like a Cosmopolitan or Espresso Martini as well as some Spanish selections like Sangría cocktails and a Negroni.
Enjoy Hispania's fine Spanish offerings at the restaurant, at private dining events or from the comfort of your own home through their click and collect or home delivery service.
