Bristol’s Cabot Circus branch of British burger chain Gourmet Burger Kitchen is located right in the shopping centre, making it a perfect place to stop off for some food during a day of shopping. Serving a huge variety of amazing burgers alongside a number of other sides and light bites, the tempting menu is guaranteed to have something you’ll enjoy on it. The glass-fronted restaurant is simply decorated with plain wooden chairs and tables and modern light fittings which hang from the walls. In the middle of the room is a central bar area stacked with a number of different drinks. The overall relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant makes it the perfect spot to enjoy the indulgent food on offer.
The menu begins with small plates including wings marinated in honey, sriracha and hot sauce and served with a sour blue cheese sauce, as well as quinoa and potato falafels served with a hot hummus dip. Standard beef burgers range from a four oz classic, to a burger called the mighty which features two six oz patties topped with mature cheddar, crispy bacon, garlic mayo and dill pickle. Alternatively there are chicken burgers on offer such as the hey pesto which comes topped with basil pesto, cheese, bacon and a pesto mayo, as well as a vegan burger made from beans and topped with vegan mayo. Sides range from sweet potato fries to GBK’s homeslaw.
