Located in Notting Hill, Frame is a restaurant inspired by life in Europe. The team were enchanted by the history of living in and travelling around Europe and wanted to create a space that would feel relaxing yet reminiscent of the grand past that Europe has progressed through. The menu at Frame focuses on modern European flavours with a Spanish twist, and you will be transported to a place of timelessness with each bite.
To begin, try creamy churrasco croquettes with aioli, a platter of Greek olives with artisan bread and olive oil, and the cecina de Leon with manchego and dark chocolate. Veggie plates include grilled avocado with pico de gallo and apple and avocado puree, padron peppers coated in lemon zest, and seared tender stem broccoli with almonds. The plates are designed to be enjoyed amongst the table, so you can order several different things explore a little and get a taste of everything. The fondant celeriac is a delicious dish, topped with cauliflower creme and pomegranate glaze, and then there's the creamy burrata with Italian tomatoes, basil oil and basil cress.
Seafood favourites include tuna tartare with watermelon and a jalapeno dressing, sea bream with a mushroom and miso puree, tarragon and red amaranth, and fried octopus with celeriac puree, cornichon and sesame mayo. Last but not least, the meat and steak options offer an indulgent taste into European favourites. Grilled chorizo comes atop toast with piquillo sauce and a rocket salad, then there's a chicken breast in carrot cream with a nut crumble and beetroot, a ribeye 28 day dry-aged steak with chimichurri and red wine sauce, and duck breast with smoked aubergine puree and roasted carrots.
