The Fireaway brand was first launched back in 2016 and has since expanded from a single shop in London to more than 50 locations around the UK. The concept revolves around super speedy artisan pizzas, which are cooked in around 180 seconds and made using homemade dough.
This Milton Keynes branch is a casual and welcoming space which follows the brand’s bold, colourful aesthetic - think glossy black tiles covering the walls, pun-tastic sayings such as ‘say cheese!’ dotted around the room, and comfy booth seating wrapped in a bright orange leather. This is a fast-casual concept, with guests ordering their food at a counter towards the back of the room (you will also be able to spy the in-house 400 degree pizza oven in the restaurant’s kitchen).
So, how does the menu at Fireaway Milton Keynes work? Well, guests can choose between enjoying a 12 inch signature pizza (options include classics like pepperoni and margherita) or they can opt to build their own - simply choose a base, then add as many toppings as you like. You can crown your pizza base with the meaty likes of pepperoni, pulled chicken and turkey bacon, while vegetable toppings on offer include mushrooms, crispy onions, sun dried tomatoes and even the most controversial of pizza toppings - pineapple!
You can enjoy side dishes along with your pizza, such as cheesy garlic bread, chicken strips and a halloumi salad, while tempting dessert options include the classic Italian staple of cannoli, alongside more contemporary offerings such as a Nutella pizza and ‘space rocks’ (gelato studded with pieces of crushed Oreo or pistachios).
To wash it all down, choose from a selection of soft drinks including orange, lemon and blood orange cans of San Pellegrino or indulge with a thick milkshake that’s made with real Italian ice cream.
