Etna offers an authentic taste of Italy in the heart of London's Bromley. This cosy neighbourhood restaurant serves up a range of classic Italian dishes from fresh pasta to homemade pizzas, always using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
The team embraces the Italian spirit of hospitality and say they go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed and valued. While reservations are always encouraged (especially at the weekends), the team will do their best to seat walk-ins, too.
On the menu, diners will find a wide range of choice between starters, pastas, pizzas and main dishes. To kick things off, why not pick some sharing plates for the table such as calamari fritti, arancinette or homemade focaccia? Moving onto pastas, which are a house favourite, there's much to choose from including crab linguine with garlic, chilli and cherry tomatoes, penne with tomatoes, pork belly and fresh chilli or oven-baked lasagne with bechamel, parmesan cheese and bolognese sauce.
Main dishes span meat, pescetarian and plant-based options with plates such as veal in bread crumbs served with spaghetti alla Bolognese, grilled lamb chops with mixed vegetables and mint sauce, and grilled salmon fillet with sauteed potatoes and roasted vegetables. There's also plenty of rustic pizzas to choose from, slathered with all the traditional toppings from four cheeses to buffalo mozzarella with fresh tomatoes and basil.
As much as Etna is passionate about food, the owners also believe that a complementary drink is needed to elevate any meal. On the wine list you'll find a well-curated selection of red, white and rose wines, alongside fine and dessert wines, too. If cocktails are more your thing, belt-up because the bar tenders have ticked off all the Italian signatures, as well as some others, too. Why not start with an aperitif like a Negroni or Aperol Spritz, and we suggest ending the meal with an Espresso Martini.
