Ideally located on Brook Street, just a short walk from Warwick Castle, Dough & Brew is a buzzy relaxed restaurant serving what is arguably some of the most awarded sourdough pizza in the country, plenty of freshly made dishes including buttermilk fried chicken, and an extensive list of locally brewed beers.
The interiors were designed by owner John Martin, and give a pared-back feel with an industrial edge. The largely wooden space is brought to life with the addition of royal blue plush seating, and a plethora of oversized bulbs hanging from the ceiling. There’s shared dining space which doubles up as a great option for larger bookings, as well as individual tables and a large al fresco dining area for when the weather permits. With plenty of bench seating, bar stools and separate two seaters, you’re not restricted to party size here, so whether you’re catching up with friends or celebrating a major birthday in a group, it’s a no brainer for an evening out in Warwick.
The pizza menu goes beyond the ordinary combining some of the ultimate flavour combinations - think mediterranean veg with balsamic vinegar and truffle oil, chicken with mozzarella and walnut pesto, and of course the classic margherita. There’s also the super indulgent options such as the ‘mork’ which is mac n cheese and maple roasted bacon.
This pizza comes with a whole host of awards and nominations, so maybe if you don’t believe us when we say how good they are, these might persuade you. Among many others, the accolades include ‘Best Pizza in England 2022’ and ‘Best Casual Dining Restaurant’.
Whilst you’re tucking in the first class pizza, don’t forget to try out the local beers that can be found on the extensive drinks list, from pale ales to stouts and lagers.
