This Seven Dials café and delicatessen in hustling, bustling Covent Garden offers a relaxing spot for some time out with a cake and a cuppa. The brainchild of Jerome Armit and chef Rufus Wickham (formerly of Kettner’s), it offers all-day deli staples with a modern touch: breakfast muffins filled with figs and honey, peaches and cream, or coffee, banana and hazelnut, or the signature smoked bacon cinnamon roll. Lunchtime bites see sandwiches stuffed with the likes of home-smoked, pepper-cured Longhorn pastrami, teamed with pickles and Tewkesbury mustard, as well as bagels filled with smoked salmon and Croxton Manor cream cheese. There are salads for light lunchers and moreish desserts for those with a sweet tooth, including tiramisu and key lime pie.
