From the team that brought you Boujis, Mahiki and Raffles, Cubanista is a 1920s Cuban-inspired cocktail bar in South Kensington which adjoins the nightclub B London. Accessing Cubanista is where the fun begins. Step into an old telephone box off Old Brompton Road, dial the number, and watch the other side of the booth open, transporting you to a vibrant Latin-American speakeasy. Expect innovative cocktails, R&B beats and good vibes all night long!
Upon entry, you’ll be greeted by a softly lit room with faded tropical colours, vintage Bacardi posters and mismatched furniture, creating a unique ambience you won't find anywhere else in the capital. The space is designed to evoke the feel of sun-drenched days in Cayo, providing a vibrant meeting point to gather with friends and loved ones.
On the drinks menu at Cubanista, discover plenty of experimental cocktails based around high-quality Cuban rum - as well as the famous Crackbaby shot from Boujis! Expect contemporary takes on classic cocktails, such as the crystal clear Pina Colada, rum-based Daquiri and Espresso Martini with flavours of tobacco, tonka bean and chocolate. Enticing new creations include the Margt-rita, which combines jalapenos, tequila, Cointreau and lime, the Love Birds which sees grilled pineapple topped with rum, lime, vanilla and cardamom, and the Presidente, a bold blend of Presidente rums and Lillet Blanc.
If you’re looking for an exciting evening out, take a look at the cocktail masterclass evenings on offer. These are all based around specific themes, including The Great Gatsby, James Bond and The Titanic. In each class, guests learn how to make four cocktails, with a sushi break halfway through. Tickets are also inclusive of entry to the neighbouring B London club, for the perfect foodie night out!
