We are very proud to offer our guests local, seasonal produce all prepared by our Head Chef, Kyle Wilkinson. Kyle is passionate about preparing creative, fresh produce and particularly enjoys making yummy desserts. With over 10 years experience of working in high quality gastro pubs and recenetly shortlisted for the Welsh Culinary Association Awards, Kyle will be sure to not dissappoint you!. Our Butcher supplier has recently won 'Best Butcher in Wales' Award and we are very proud to be included in the 'Good Food Guide'.
The Cross Foxes is fortunate to be surrounded by an abundance of natural food sources - from our Welsh rivers, the nearby coast as well as our many hardworking Welsh farmers and local artisan producers.
This means we are fantastically well placed to offer our guests the finest locally sourced food and drink to ensure the freshest, highest quality, seasonal food is always on our menus.
To us the food is all about taste, quality and locally sourced wherever possible. Our Chefs create simple, freshly prepared, handmade dishes, presented imaginatively, where the ingredients can speak for themselves.
We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week and cater for vegetarians, children and people with special dietary requirements. Specially designed quick bites for people on the move, or just a cup of fresh coffee or afternoon tea are available. Whatever you’re in the mood for, we have a delicious, flexible menu to match your appetite. All served by us with a big smile at a fair price.
The Grill is a big feature in our dining room – our chefs prepare everything from scratch right in front of you in the open kitchen, turning eating into a more entertaining experience. We think it all adds to a great atmosphere.
More than that, the grill is the best way to appreciate and taste totally fresh, high quality meat and fish – not to mention a healthier, lighter touch which is good for all of us.
