Following the success of Cookhouse Joe on Berwick Street, its owners have launched a second outlet – this time a few doors from their popular pizza joint Soho Joe on Dean Street. Like its sibling, the new eatery is all about rotisserie chickens served with some international
flourishes and a noticeable Lebanese slant. Free-range chooks from the West Country are given the treatment on a mobile rotisserie trolley and served with a choice of chilli, garlic or cucumber and
mint yoghurt sauce – although the menu also allows you to ring the changes with burgers and salads. Starters and sides revolve around mezze-style standards ranging from grilled haloumi, falafel to
crispy lamb kofte and falafel, while desserts offer sticky baklava as well as transatlantic staples such as chocolate fudge cake or homemade apple pie.
