The restaurant at Castle Cottage is recommended in the major food guides – a continuous entry for the last 26 years!. We have steadily built up a reputation for good food, both locally and with visitors to the area. We source and use as much local / Welsh produce as possible and strive to create a dining experience that combines top quality local food and service with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere without being pompous or stuffy. We are the Mid Wales and overall winner for Wales of The True Taste Eating out Award for 2008/09, National Restaurant Awards 2011 Top 100 Restaurants, Cheshire Life Dining Award of Highly Commended 2016 and we have again earned a Visit Wales Gold Award for 2018.
The dining room seats up to 40 and we use crisp white and cream linen, Alchemy china, Italian designed cutlery, Welsh made oak tables and contemporary leather chairs. The pale cream walls are decorated with modern, original Welsh art.
