Located just a few steps from Spitalfields Market, Café Mission comes from the team behind Europe’s largest movement studio. Found on the site’s third floor, Café Mission is all about seasonally-changing, no-nonsense cuisine that specialises in plant-based and energy-rich plates.
Available for all-day dining, here you can pop in any time of day, with brunch, lunch and dinner offerings. There’s no need to practise or train at Mission either, everyone is welcome to visit the Café. You’ll find several spaces to choose from here, with options to have a cocktail in the lounge and bar, perched atop sustainably sourced and refurbed sofas, or have a full dinner in the main restaurant. On sunnier days, take to the rooftop terrace and enjoy a selection of light bites whilst taking in the sprawling city views.
The lunch and dinner a la carte includes a variety of health-conscious dishes including the likes of the Mission quinoa bowl made with caponata, kale pesto, borlotti beans and pumpkin, mushroom tacos with black beans and pico de gallo, or a dal bowl with carrot thoran, raita and your choice of naan or rice. Finish your meal with an indulgent selection of sorbets, available by the scoop, offering options such as mango and lime, serious chocolate and coconut milk ice. Every weekend, you’ll find a brunch menu sporting the likes of homemade flatbreads with toppings of smoked chalkstream trout and cream cheese, or masala omelette and roast tomatoes.
On the drinks front, you can delve into a selection of carefully curated cocktails with everything from Margaritas, Espresso Martinis and Cosmopolitans, with several refreshing Spritz options, or alcohol free alternatives. The wine menu features a number of natural options, with red, white, rose, orange, sparkling and even alcohol-free options available by the glass or bottle.
