If you're looking to host a private dinner in East London, why not try Café Mission? Just a stone's throw from Spitalfields Market, Café Mission is found on the third floor of Europe’s largest movement studio, offering a unique spot for your next gathering. Blending its signature warehouse-chic aesthetic with sustainability and thoughtful cuisine, here you’ll find several light and airy spaces designed to inspire movement, alongside menus of plant-based, energy-rich cuisines.
Café Mission provides a range of versatile spaces, including a rooftop restaurant, lounge bar, and terrace, each able to host an array of private dining experiences, whether you’re looking to celebrate a milestone birthday, or are looking for somewhere unusual for a corporate drinks and canape reception. The restaurant and bar can seat up to 50 guests, whilst the rooftop terrace has space for smaller groups of 25, if you’re looking to host a more intimate celebration.
Menus here are ever changing, part of Café Mission's ethos to best reflect sustainability and seasonality. For intimate gatherings of up to 28 guests, the team at Café Mission recommend one banquet-style table, where your guests will be served family style. These menus tend to focus on global cuisines, with options including the likes of South Indian flavours, or Mediterranean inspired plates, with dishes served individually or as a collection of sharing plates, from roast chalkstream trout with lentils and quince salsa verde, to fresh tomato sambhar with a mint, fennel and pomegranate salad.
For larger groups, of up to 65 guests, you can enjoy a casual buffet-style meal, or a selection of canapés and snacks, each made using local and seasonal produce. Canape menus are also themed, boasting the vibrant flavours of Latin America, or bringing the very best of Brick Lane, you can expect bite-sized treats including mushroom tacos with corn and fava beans, followed by roasted pepper frittata, or vegetable keema peas and flatbreads, with mushroom and walnut samosas.
