Brasserie Blanc, Hale Barns, is a large and inviting bar and brasserie, located in the Marriott Hotel by Manchester Airport. Brasserie Blanc is part of Raymond Blanc’s White Brasserie Company group, serving a seasonal a la carte menu, plus daily breakfast and Sunday lunch.
Brasserie Blanc, Hale Barns is modern and inviting with a striking high ceiling, plenty of light and space. It has been decorated to a high standard throughout and there is a separate bar area with soft leather seating and high bar stools. Chandeliers twinkle from the high ceilings and the brasserie is dotted with pretty hanging greenery.
Breakfast is served daily from 6.30am (7am at the weekend), offering a buffet style breakfast which includes a full English as well as lighter dishes, plus plenty of freshly brewed coffee and tea.
The seasonal a la carte menu varies however you will find plenty of British and French inspired dishes to choose from. Perhaps you will go for the prime Cornish chargrilled 30-day matured steak or Le Grand steak frites served with your choice of sauce. You will also find plenty of lighter dishes and vegetarian options on the menu such as the pan-fried stone bass served with butterbeans and chorizo, and the vegetarian mezze board served with houmous, pomegranate and flatbreads.
The dessert menu features many popular classic desserts such as sticky toffee pudding and rhubarb crumble served with vanilla ice cream. You will also find a delicious sounding cherry amandine served with a vanilla Anglaise sauce, and a pistachio souffle served with rich chocolate ice cream.
To finish off your meal Brasserie Blanc has a good selection of coffee and truffles, as well as an after-dinner cocktail menu with favourites such as the espresso martini and a Woodford reserve old fashioned. There is a good selection of quality wine, beers and spirits, as well as plenty of soft drinks, juices and mocktails.
