Restaurant and Bar with stunning riverside views and artisanal food and drinks offerings.
Originally a row of seven shops, this Italianate building used to welcome passengers off the ‘Fifie’ ferry service which brought people to and from Dundee before the rail and road bridges were built. After years of dereliction, marine owner David Anderson skillfully restored the building. Two years later, renowned local interior designer and long-term Newport resident Alan Beaton envisioned converting it into an accessible and comfortable restaurant. The result is evident. Both the decor and the views are nothing short of breathtaking.
The family-run business, led by General Manager Dugald McGarry, is passionate about using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients to serve top-quality dishes which combine the traditional with the modern.
