This cosy and intimate restaurant, located on the quaint streets of Bath is a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing in the historical city. The vintage and industrial feel of the restaurant makes you feel as if you are in a trendy one-off restaurant instead of one part of the huge chain it has become. The food, however, is just as good as the rest of the chain, which prides itself on hearty dishes and quality ingredients.
Bill’s all-day menu means that no matter what time you need to stop for a refuel, you will be accommodated at Bill’s. If you’re stopping for a bite to eat before a day exploring the city, the breakfast menu is bound to impress. Try the garden plate – with eggs, halloumi, peppers, avocado and a potato rosti, for a super-filling, healthy start to your day. Or, if you want something a little lighter, the homemade granola and berries will keep you going until lunch.
Speaking of lunch, if you happen to stop by for a quick meal in-between sightseeing at the Roman baths, you can enjoy a host of fun and filling dishes (these are also available for dinner). Try the halloumi burger for a change from your regular beef burger, or go for a nostalgic treat and order the fish finger sandwich. Definitely a more grownup version of the classic lunch time dish, but great for the kids too.
Looking for a teatime treat? Bill's cream tea and selection of cakes is a great way to spend your afternoon before making the most of the last little bits of sightseeing for the day. Try the toasted tea cake with butter and jam, carrot cake or if you are a chocoholic, the triple chocolate brownie is what you should go for.
