I visited Bibis restaurant last night for a reservation at 8pm. I have visited Bibi’s multiple times and i have to say I’ve never seen so many issues i was appalled with the service last night.
When we arrived we where taken to a table and the waiter walked off before we got to the table. The table was opposite a set of stairs so we had to sit next to each other rather than opposite. I then spoke to one of the waiters and asked him could we move tables as we didn’t like that table.
He advised that he would ask the front desk. He then walked to the front desk and asked the host at the front desk. He then came back to me and said he had a new table for us and pointed it out. I said yes where happy with this table and this table was on the stage area next to the DJ.
So we sat down and the waiter was about to take our order when a lady in white jacket I assume (a manager) if you could say that. Shouted at us and the waiter saying you can’t sit there. I said to her we not moving we just been given these seats she then pleaded with us to move seats as she said these seats where already promised to a the DJ. Which at the time I thought meant the DJ who was performing on the stage. So I agreed to move.
We where then moved to the new table and (the manager) advised that she would send over a free garlic bread complimentary for the disruption I informed her I was not happy.
I then seen her being argumentative with the waiter who served us. I would like to say it wasn’t the waiters issue at all.
Then about 15 minutes later a guy dressed in a black suit with his blonde on his arm comes in shouting the odds and sits on the seats we where told where for the DJ. He’s then brought in his own guitarist who began to serenade the blonde women. He then grabbed a mic from the DJ and began singing. Then started talking and trying to get peoples attention. You could see by the mood of the restaurant most of the guests where not impressed. I later found out he was a z list celebrity ex professional DJ. When I approached management about this they said because I paid in full I wasn’t entitled to any refund. Since then my emails have been ignored.
