Back in 2017, April's Kitchen opened its doors to the locals of Knutsford, on Regent Street. Here, you can enjoy casual dining in an elegant setting, and expect plenty of pink. The kitchens are known for their extensive and creative menus, which offer something for every kind of mood and craving. There are healthy, indulgent, classic and innovative dishes on the menu, and each goes down even better with one of their cocktails.
The breakfast classics include warm jumbo porridge oats with your choice of milk, topped with two of your favourite toppings (pumpkin and sunflower seeds, blueberries, coconut flakes, and many more). Warm croissants are filled with crispy, smoked streaky bacon and melted cheddar cheese, whilst the full English comes with everything you could want. If you're more into sweet breakfasts, try the American style pancake stack with berries and maple syrup.
Then comes the lunchtime menu, beginning with the king prawn cocktail made with Marie Rose sauce – a classic. April's smash burger is made with double prime beef patties, bacon, cheese, vine tomatoes and baby gem all inside of a brioche bun, with a side of skinny fries, perinaise and house slaw. The Reuben toastie is a hit, with sliced pastrami, melted gruyere cheese, sauerkraut and mustard mayo. For something lighter, yet equally as filling, order the buddha bowl made with grilled tenderstem broccoli, crispy kale, roasted red pepper and onion, beetroot and edamame beans and seeds. You can choose your grains out of sweet potato wedges, coconut and lime rice and soy and ginger noodles, whilst your protein may be piri-piri chicken, king prawns, rump steak, maple and sriracha tofu or grilled halloumi.
