Alderley Edge is a small village in the heart of Cheshire, and what it lacks in population, it more than makes up for in scenery. Alderley Edge's surroundings are staggeringly beautiful, and there are plenty of hikes that boast fantastic views across the Cheshire Plain and the Peak District. On top of that, it is also home to some of the most significant historic sites in the northwest of England, including the oldest metal-mining sites in the UK.
Located directly south of Manchester, this small village is only a 40-minute drive from the major city should you fancy a day of shopping, or maybe a night out on the town. Alderley Edge also finds itself in the Cheshire Golden Triangle which is famously home to some of the world’s best footballers. Current and former residents include David Beckham, Kevin De Bruyne and Alan Turing.
