Good honest Italian fare - friendly staff
We came here to celebrate my birthday and had a lovely evening.
The service was friendly, and helpful. The staff found out that it was my birthday at the end of the meal and brought out a cake and limoncello for us, and sang happy birthday. the only reason i haven't given an excellent for service was that Unfortunately the waitress did not understand my sons request for cider (he got appeltise which wasn't a disaster, but...).
Pasta and pizzas were very good, and reasonably priced, and portions were generous - my chicken liver starter was huge.
Being a Tuesday, the restaurant was quiet and lacked the buzz that I know it gets when more crowded.
