Starting off your meal, why not try the samosas filled with minced meat cooked with green chilli, coriander and traditional spices. Or, perhaps you'll try the crispy injera seasoned with a mixture of chilli and ghee or olive oil. Doro dishes are popular on the menu, which are made from chicken. Doro wot is a dish of chicken legs slowly cooked in a rich and spicy tomato and berbere (spiced chilli powder) blend served with a boiled egg.
Lamb dishes range from the awaze tibs of lamb fillet cubed and cooked in a traditional spiced chilli paste, gomen be siga of spring greens cooked with diced lamb fillets and seasoned with garlic and ginger, and bozona shiro made from selected lamb finely chopped in a smooth blend of chickpeas and hot spices cooked in a tomato-based sauce. When it comes to beef, there are lots of options - kwanta firfir, zilzil tibs and key wot zegni.
Veggies and vegans are well catered for, with dishes of whole lentils cooked in a delicious tomato sauce with exotic herbs and spices, atkilt wot of cabbage, carrots and onion simmered in a light herb sauce and yellow split pea stew cooked with turmeric on the menu.
Adam's specials range from a vegetable combination of miser kik, ater kik and portions of house vegetarian dishes, and a meat combination of dishes, or a mix of the two.
