The 28-50 group is already known for its stylish restaurant spaces, above-and-beyond wine service and events, and European fare. But, now the brand has a new offering on the scene, a night-time version of what they already do so well, infused with live jazz and late night dancing.
28-50 By Night has opened right next to the already well-loved Marylebone restaurant and pretty much does what it says on the tin - great food and wine into the night. As you'd expect, the space is low-lit and atmoshperic, with tables positioned snuggly together for an intimate vibe. The decor is low-key and sultry, contrasting exposed brick walls with velvet seating for an edge.
Come by every evening as a host of muscians entertain the crowd via dixieland, trad jazz, blues and swing until around 2am. Food is also served until late, with the menu boasting dishes such as seared tuna with bok choy, shiitake mushrooms and Asian broth, as well as lamb loin with baked swede, quince, Swiss chard and juniper jus. After midnight, pick from the light bites menu with nibbles such as padron peppers, mini chorizo, smoked almonds and olives. There are also sharing dishes for the table like charcuterie, a selection of cheeses, and a platter of hummus with peppers and artichoke tempura.
28-50 By Night is a also a great venue for private dining events. The space is split up into several areas which can be hired out seperately, such as the Upper Dining Circle which has space for up to 45 people, enjoying nibbles and drinks in a relaxed setting. The VIP Square sits at the back of the room, with a small, private nook for six people to enjoy a sit-down dinner, or take over the entire restaurant and throw a big bash for up to 120 of your loved ones.
