Trejo’s Tacos have brought their charm to the cosmopolitan London area of Notting Hill, for their first outpost outside of Los Angeles. On the charming Portobello Road, Trejo's Tacos bring something totally different to the city, with the brand expressing their own style yet still paying homage to the LA Mexican food scene.
The recipes at Trejo's Tacos marry together traditional ingredients and well loved recipes, and mix them with influences from other cuisines and cultures, to create something new. If you're looking to host a special occasion in style, consider Trejo's Tacos' stylish private space. The private dining area can host up to 26 seated guests comfortably, and up to 70 for a drinks reception. When planning a laid back birthday dinner, big celebration with family or corporate lunch, Trejo's Tacos will handle the tacos, tequila and everything in between.
The food menu begins with delicious appetisers, like street corn with chipotle cream, chilli powder and cotija cheese, and crispy shrimp tostada with guacamole spread, pickled red onion and cilantro. Taco lovers will enjoy the carnitas with slow-cooked pork, pineapple, red onion and fermented hot sauce, and the OG beer battered which features beer battered cod with chipotle slaw and vegan avocado crema. A unique taco pairing, the chicken tikka contains Spanish rice, pico de gallo, mint escabeche cream and chicken tikka, of course.
Bowls come in many of the same flavours as the tacos, but also include the mushroom asada with pepita pesto, rice, beans, grilled corn, verde slaw and pico de gallo, and the cauliflower bowl of goodness with roasted corn, vegan avocado cream, rice, beans and even more corn. How tasty do they sound!
