Muse by Tom Aikens is an experience-led fine dining establishment, with an intimate setting for just 23 covers. Located in a beautifully converted mews house in Belgravia, Muse was swiftly awarded a Michelin star and became the place to go for seasonally driven tasting menus that focus on fine local and sustainable produce. If you’re planning a private dining booking, for any occasion, you’ve chosen a great spot in Muse.
Tom takes much of his inspiration from life with his parents. Baking was Tom's mother's forte and he and his twin brother Robert loved to pick out fruits with her in the garden, and make home baked bread and fine cakes. Tom's father also shared much advice in the early years of his career, with great knowledge in the wine business.
For private dining bookings, the restaurant can accommodate a few more guests, stretching up to 26, in an array of forms across the ground floor, front row counter seats and lounge. There are many options depending on how many guests you're looking to host, including a full townhouse takeover. Invite your guests in with a sparkling wine reception in the ground floor lounge, before taking your seats to enjoy seasonal snacks. Muse's large group dining menu includes Tom's signature bread course, served with homemade chicken and cep butter, a four course seasonal tasting menu for lunch or five courses for dinner, wine throughout your meal to match your palate, waters, tea and coffee and a selection of sweet treats.
Expect to find flavour blends of asparagus with garlic leaf and macadamia, symbolising new beginnings with the first of the green shoots, along with trout paired with morels and white asparagus, and lamb with sheep's yoghurt and courgette. Dessert is a few of Tom's favourite things, with bread and butter paired with marmalade.
