Serving authentic Italian dishes made from seasonal British ingredients, Luca is a must for lovers of Italian cuisine. Located in Clerkenwell, between Farringdon and Barbican stations, this upmarket restaurant can be hired for private dinners and boasts three stunning indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from.
Luca offers two main private dining rooms: The Garden Room and The Pasta Room. Despite its name, the former is a cosy indoor space overlooking the restaurant’s open kitchen and with a capacity of up to eight people. It’s been styled to evoke the feel of a traditional southern Italian garden with foliage sprawled across the walls, plants and shaped trees in terracotta pots, a round mirror and a garden lantern hanging above the table in the centre of the room
The Pasta Room, as the name suggests, is where the restaurant’s chefs make fresh pasta every day. This space has been designed to replicate the look and feel of a rustic Italian kitchen, with free-form wooden shelves lined with pots and crockery and a central farmhouse-style wooden table with space for up to 10 guests. Both The Pasta Room and The Garden Room are available to book for lunch and dinner.
If you’d like to enjoy a private dinner under the sky (or stars), then Luca’s terrace is a beautiful foliage-filled space that is bound to take guests’ breath away. Surrounded by olive trees and jasmine, boasting a large stone fireplace and with exposed brick walls enclosing the area, the terrace is about as close to a traditional Italian garden as you can get in London. Whether it’s a sun-soaked lunch or a cosy dinner illuminated by a roaring fire, any occasion held here is sure to be extra special. Hire the space for up to 20 people.
The team will help you design a bespoke menu for your private dinner, from feasting to tasting options, to ensure the food and drink is just as perfect as the room your event is held in.
