Located in the heart of Soho, Kapara is a vibrant all-day restaurant inspired by the flavours of the Middle East. This all-day destination comprises an alfresco terrace, main restaurant area, bar and subterranean private dining space, perfect for all occasions be it an intimate dinner with friends and family or impressive corporate meal. Founder and chef Eran Tibi has created the menu at Kapara to take diners on a sensual journey through the flavours, scents, textures and colours of Middle Eastern cuisine, and the sharing style aims to create a relaxed, welcoming and overall enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.
With interiors designed by the Raven Collective, the basement private dining space is moody with sultry lighting and red stools overlooking the kitchen pass. Up to 36 guests can be seated here for a meal and the dedicated team will be on hand to ensure your vision is executed flawlessly.
For the meal itself, there is a specially curated private dining menu, starting with Gazoz cocktails (the house spirit made with botanicals, herbs, vodka and arak) accompanied by nibbles. The main event includes essential signature dishes, sharing plates and sides, before finishing with dessert, sweet wines and spirits.
Alternatively, the team will be happy to create a bespoke feasting menu tailored to your tastes, which is handy for dietary requirements and specific requests. As an all-day dining restaurant, you could also arrange a private brunch or lunch at Kapara and enjoy traditional dishes like shakshuka, slow cooked lamb belly, and zesty salads.
Aside from Gazoz, the drinks menu features a whole host of Middle Eastern wines as well as plenty of innovative and classic cocktails. For your private meal, the basement comes with its own 'serve yourself' bar - just let the team know what types of drinks you enjoy and it will be fully stocked up for your use.
