Founded in 1993 by ex-North Sea oil rigger Pete Cross and chef Carolyn Dawson, The Union Club remains under their dedicated leadership. Fulfilling a long held dream, they transformed a dilapidated 50 Greek Street, Soho building into this beautiful private members club. Despite the initial challenges, Carolyn and Pete, with help from a devoted crew, opened the doors in September 1993.
From its modest beginnings, the club has evolved into a cherished Soho institution, providing a secluded escape from the City's hustle and bustle. In 2015, the club expanded by acquiring the adjacent four storey premises, creating a warehouse style workspace and chic meeting rooms. With a growing collection of art, furniture, and unique additions curated by Pete, The Union Club thrives as a dynamic space. And, while the club evolves, their longstanding staff and members, which have been integral to its essence since 1993, contribute to its enduring charm.
