Set just around the corner from Regent Street, El Pastor’s Soho has long been a favourite choice for meet-ups over tacos and celebratory dinners. When the time comes for something a little more impressive, this restaurant has a card up its sleeve: the El Pastor private dining room. An intimate space, with green wood-panelled walls and a central table with a capacity of up to 12 guests.
It’s available to hire for all manner of events, from anniversary and birthday celebrations to corporate meetings and business lunches. Alternatively, groups of up to 16 can hire the main restaurant dining room. But it doesn’t end there. If your party is due to be larger, whether celebrating a whole office social or a big birthday blowout, El Pastor Soho offers exclusive use of the Mezcaleria Colmillo - a contemporary interpretation of Mexico City’s downtown mezcal bars named for the nightclub run by the owners in the 1990s.
Kitted out with a large bar, open kitchen, DJ decks, and a Funktion 1 sound system, it’s a versatile space. Whether you’re looking to host a dinner of up to 60 or a standing drinks party for 80-100, jovial interiors and quirky decor provide a sense of fun and excitement.
The El Pastor private dining menus are inspired by the time spent by founders Sam and Crispin in Mexico, so expect to see a generous offering of tostadas, quesadillas, and tacos along with larger sharing plates. Think, 24-hour marinated pork shoulder set in a homemade heritage corn tortilla with grilled pineapple and punchy salsas.
Groups of 12 or larger can dine from one of the fiesta menus, with all the most popular dishes included along with sides and desserts. You’ll also find a top-shelf selection of signature Mexican cocktails, beers, and spice-friendly wines.
