Since opening in spring 2023, Nessa has been the one to watch. With a fantastic location on the edge of Soho, the interiors alone will have you and your gang drooling - starting with the playful, pistachio-hued, striped awning out front. Inside, it's all rich tones, layered textures and contemporary but timeless touches, that make for stylish backdrop to any get-together.
While up to eight guests are welcome to dine in the main restaurant, groups of between nine to fourteen should take over the feasting table which sits within the hustle and bustle but has a fabulous spot underneath the skylight and opposite the open kitchen. From here, you'll all be together around one table, cosied up on a stunning, pale pink banquette, while soaking up the buzz and atmsosphere of the chefs hard at work.
Nessa's menu is the brainchild of well-known chef Tom Cenci who previously worked at Duck & Waffle and specialises in high quality, seasonal British produce, and loves to showcase his passion for finding the best ingredients from around the UK. For groups of nine or more, let us show you to the feasting menu, which includes a selection of signatures and highlights from the menu, designed to share.
While the feasting menu changes with the seasons, at the moment, you'll find starters of rolled oak soda bread with cultured butter, cheese and onion croquettes with mustard mayo, as well as heritage tomato and strawberry salad with radish, hot honey and mint dressing - and that's only the half of it!
For mains, your group can get stuck into lamb rump with grilled little gem, peas and mustard sauce, as well as Cornish cod with Jersey Royals, parsley sauce and caviar. Finally, for dessert, we wouldn't be able to resist a forkful of Viennessa sponge cake served with ice cream and Chantilly cream.
