Drunch's fantastic comfort food and welcoming atmosphere have made it a favourite St. John's Wood haunt for locals in search of great food. This all-day restaurant serves up brunches from 11am every day, and follows up with a smart menu of large and small sharing plates in the evening, backed up with great cocktails and chic interiors.
Brunch at Drunch kicks off with eggs, available in a variety of combinations; there's eggs on toast, eggs Florentine or Royale for the purist, then the option of Turkish eggs swaddled in creamy labneh, shakshuka, full English breakfasts and a scrambled egg burger with cheese, chilli mayonnaise and jalapenos. Lighter acai bowls, superfood salads and soups are also available, as well as some sweet treats like churros, doughnuts, pancakes and French toast.
The extravagance doesn't end there - peruse the drinks menu and you'll find signature cocktails and sharing cocktails, as well as a unique selection of hot drinks that includes the Drunch in Love (a cappuccino with dried flower petals) and an In Love Latte that comes with coconut and hazelnut syrup and dried strawberries. Plus of course, cocktails and coffees that come strewn with 24K edible gold leaf.
The evening menu takes a more modern, broadly Mediterranean tack, and is split into large and small plates. The menu features plenty of classic flavours - burrata with heirloom tomatoes and pesto, and tiger prawns with chilli, garlic and lemon, for example - but there are dishes for the more adventurous too, like prawn tacos with tomato salsa, or truffle arancini with wild mushrooms. The larger plates are similarly comforting, sticking to satisying fare like burgers, superfood salads and steak, alongside dishes like roast cod with potatoes, broccoli and sauce vierge, and prawn linguine with tomatoes, olives and capers.
For private dining groups, both the main restaurant and the lounge are available for hire
