Hawksmoor Spitalfields was the original Hawksmoor location - the restaurant proved so popular that Hawksmoor has become an international success story, with restaurants not just across the UK in Manchester, Edinburgh and Liverpool, but also in New York and Dublin.
Thankfully, the success hasn't completely gone to their heads - Spitalfields has retained all the moody charm that made it so busy in the first place, from the dark green leather banquettes to the no-frills menu that puts quality steaks above all else. The Spitalfields site is also a handy location for East Londoners, as well as anyone coming into the capital from Essex and the east of England - Hawksmoor is just a short walk from Shoreditch High Street and Liverpool Street stations.
The private dining room at Hawksmoor Spitalfields is among the groups larger private rooms, with room for up to 55 guests. Anyone who has visited Hawksmoor before will feel right at home amid the exposed brick, herringbone wood floors and leather seating of the private dining room here, whilst art on the walls pays tribute to medieval London with old maps and more.
Guests are greeted with cocktails, before diving into a choice of sharing menus, which fall into three price ranges. Starters include Hawksmoor favourites like potted beef, bacon and Yorkshire puddings, roast scallops and beef fillet carpaccio, before moving onto the main event - steaks, served with all your favourite sides and sauces. Puddings are available too - including the famous Hawksmoor sticky toffee pudding - but you have the choice of two or three courses with your set menu. The Hawksmoor event team can tailor events to suit your requirements, making this a versatile location for anything from smart corporate events to birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations.
