Brocket Hall’s private dining spaces are beautiful and varied. Whether you’d like to host an intimate dinner for 20 or a lavish banquet for 150, this historic venue is experienced at hosting private seated events of all sizes and styles.
Located 22 miles from central London, Brocket Hall offers an accessible country escape from the city. It’s the ultimate luxury venue and equipped to cater to your every need thanks to a dedicated team of event planners and butlers.
For large private dinners, the Ballroom is its most impressive space, a 60 feet long and 30 feet high space boasting a wealth of original features, from grand ceilings to a stone fireplace. This room’s roots date back to the 1760s, and you won’t find a setting more magnificent for a special seated event. Hire it out for up to 150 guests and spend the evening enjoying top-level service, beautiful decor and exquisite food.
Slightly smaller, but beautifully elegant, the Library is another charming space suited to seated parties of 20. This light and bright space boasts views of the Estate through huge windows, and features Chippendale bookcases – one of two that were created by the designer of the same name.
Finally, its on-site restaurant Auberge de Lac is also available for exclusive use, including both the main dining room and terrace. This option seats between two and 30 guests, and offers a lakeside setting with views of the gardens.
Menus are seasonal and created by head chef John Barber who aims to create a refined but relaxed vibe across both food and service. Brocket Hall also boasts a kitchen garden where it grows a large number of fruit and vegetables, so guests are promised high quality produce sourced metres from the table at which they’re served.
