Benihana is a Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant with sites across the globe. It currently boasts two restaurants in London, including one in Covent Garden, and this one in Chelsea.
Located on the King’s Road, Benihana Chelsea is home to a small and stylish private dining room where you and your guests can watch highly skilled chefs dice, chop and grill in front of your very eyes.
The private dining room at Benihana Chelea can cater for up to 12 guests and is perfect for more intimate occasions such as birthdays and corporate dinners. Take a seat in its high-backed chairs as you watch your private chefs rustle up Teppanyaki classics all evening. Every visit promises to be totally unique and is the perfect fit for those looking to book a private dinner with a drop of extra drama.
The experienced team will help you create the perfect menu for your private dinner, but examples of Benihana favourites include Hibachi sirloin steak with mushrooms, Hibachi chicken with teriyaki sauce, and tuna fillet steak with pickled ginger and teriyaki sauce. All come served with onion soup, salad with a ginger dressing, vegetables, steamed rice and a prawn appetiser as standard. You can also choose from a selection of speciality dishes, such as Land & Sea featuring filet mignon and miso black cod, and Benihana Royal with cheateaubriand, scallops and lobster tail.
Alongside hot Teppanyaki dishes, there is a range of sushi and sashimi to choose from, perfect if you’re after something a little lighter. And vegetarians are catered for with a variety of chopped vegetables cooked on the Teppan.
To drink, discover signature cocktails, fruity mocktails, Japanese sake, wines and spirits. Or, if you have a classic cocktail in mind, the team can whip that up too.
