If you don't already know Barrafina, this boutique restaurant group first set up shop on Dean Street in Soho, before expanding to locations in Borough Yards, Covent Garden, King's Cross and the theatrical Drury Lane. The concept is simple: modern Spanish tapas that's easy to share and best enjoyed with good friends, and since its inception this idea has worked wonderfully well.
If you're looking for somewhere central to host a private dining event, whether it be briging together a group of pals for a long overdue catch up, a networking dinner or brand event, or just to celebrate a birthday, the team at Barrafina Drury Lane will be happy to welcome you into their exclusive-use space. Capacity sits between eight and 24 people and to enquire, there's an easy to fill out form online which will give the gang all the details they need.
As for the space, it's a gorgeous, intimate dining room with dreamy colour palette of red and blue, two-tone walls and stylish, leather-upholstered chairs. The best part, though, is that you and your guests will be privvy to a private, open kitchen so you can see the magic happen behind the scenes and soak up the atmosphere.
Private diners are invited to choose from the set sample menu which features feasting-style dishes. There are plenty of options to choose from including a menu focused just on chicken, with another on pork. Personally, we like the sound of the signature menu, which includes sharing starters of cuttlefish croquetas and pan con tomate, followed by a premium cut of 70-day-agred Austrian beef for mains and desserts like tarta de queso with crème fraiche ice cream to share with the group. Vegetarian and vegan diners are totally catered for and the team have also put together a full menu of plant-based dishes.
