Set amid hills and parkland, The West London Shooting School’s stately clubhouse and shooting grounds feel utterly rural – and yet central London is only 12 miles away. The impressive range of corporate packages includes a morning shoot that can have participants back at their desks by noon. Alternatively, you can book in for an evening shoot with a barbecue, or a multiactivity day combining shooting with quad biking, 4x4 driving or archery.
With a fully flexible schedule, you’re able to tailor packages to suit your requirements. Options range from a two hour shoot through to a full day of sport with a whole host of add-ons available. While the teaching might be rooted in the methods of the great Percy Stanbury, the team has kept up with the latest in instruction techniques to help all levels and abilities have a fun day out. During your time you’ll learn about safety, etiquette, and the correct gun mount to ensure you’re practicing the right techniques from the start. Various courses mean you can pick the ideal setup for your event, with options for both clay and game shoots depending on preference.
As mentioned, it’s not just shooting that you can do here either. Multi-activity days give you a great fast-paced event to keep delegates entertained from start to finish. An example schedule might include breakfast to begin, a safety briefing before you start and then a day’s worth of mixed activities that might run from quad biking and archery through to clay shooting and 4x4 driving, or even duck herding.
Refreshments are served throughout the day and include a light lunch with most packages. The restaurant on site also makes the perfect pitstop for an early supper or private dinner before you disband and is headed up by chef Marcos De Freitas. Here you’ll be served simple food made with the best ingredients from local producers. On the corporate menu you’ll find a slow cooked lamb shank in red wine sauce, and teriyaki salmon on a bed of noodles, for example.
