About Sale e Pepe

Since 1974, authentic Italian restaurant Sale e Pepe has welcomed the likes of royalty and rock stars, locals and tourists, to its now iconic destination eatery in Knightsbridge. Over the years, the restaurant has received recognition for its delicious food, sophisticated setting and charismatic team including Toni, the original owner who greeted diners like old friends for 45 years before retiring. Now, the team continue his legacy by creating a special atmosphere, perfect for an occasion.

If you have a birthday, anniversary or work event coming up and are looking for a venue, Sale e Pepe is ready to roll out the red carpet for you. Just a moment's walk from Harrods, sitting on the edge of Sloane Street, the restaurant benefits from a fabulous location with some of the best transport links in London for those coming from afar.

Groups of up to 10 people can be booked on the phone, but if you'd like to take over part or all of the restaurant for a larger group, get in touch with the team to discuss your options. Group dining bookings are also invited to choose from one of the set menus, which can be found on the website.

Amongst the three-course menu options are dishes like La Latteria burrata with plum tomatoes and basil to start, with larger plates such as grilled cod fillet with butter poached asparagus and herb sautéed potatoes or spinach and ricotta ravioli with tomato and basil for mains. For dessert, it has to be something classic like homemade tiramisu or ice cream in flavours of chocolate brownie and vanilla.

If you'd like a cake to go along with your special occasion, the in-house pastry chef is incredibly talented and will happily create something for you, complete with personalised message on top.

We do not allow cakes from outside. However, we have an amazing in house pastry chef with some delicious options for our guests to choose from. We provide candles as well as a bespoke message on the cake.
