If you’re looking for an extravagant event and party venue in northwest London, Nova Restaurant might just be the place for you. Tucked away on Kendall Avenue, not far from Park Royal tube station, Nova is a lavish steak and sushi restaurant that will certainly impress your guests. The space is glamorous but still has a buzzy, relaxed feel. Star-like lighting hangs from the high ceilings, along with plants aplenty, while the bar is ornately decorated with green and gold. Guests can perch at the bar or settle into the plush green seating around intimate tables.
There’s an extensive cocktail menu to keep you and your party topped up, with every single one bearing the restaurant’s name. The 'innovate' features pink gin, Campari, lychee and pineapple, while the ‘novation’ blends gin, lime and pomegranate. More classic options are available, like a ‘novagroni’, ‘nova-fashioned’ or ‘novastar martini’. For a simpler sip, there are spirits available by the 50ml measure or bottle, including Roku gin, Appleton Estate rum, Johnnie Walker whiskey, Grey Goose vodka and Patron Anejo tequila. There’s a short, primarily old-world wine list, and sparkling options are available too, ideal for celebrations.
To accompany your drinks, there’s a pretty stellar food lineup. Kick things off with some snacks for the table, including Padron peppers with rose harissa, a mezze platter or steamed edamame (spicy or salty). From there, you can sample starters like burrata with smoked almond and chilli oil, chicken karaage, tuna tartare with quail egg, tempura prawns and Korean chicken wings. Then, you and your party can switch gears and enjoy grilled delights hot off the mangal, including chicken shish, lamb kofte and various steaks like sirloin, filet mignon and t-bone. From the sea, there’s a platter that showcases all the highlights, featuring nigiri, sashimi, Botan prawns, sea urchin, crab salad, salmon and avocado rolls and prawn tempura.
