Greenwich is an area in London filled with popular tourist attractions, and having witnessed a great deal of London’s history throughout years of transformation it has some great museums too. Where the Old Royal Navy College stands today once housed the Palace of Placentia, where King Henry VIII was born. Henry continued this Tudor tradition, and both of his daughters, Queen Mary I and Queen Elizabeth I, were also born here.
