Greenwich is an area in London filled with popular tourist attractions, and having witnessed a great deal of London’s history throughout years of transformation it has some great museums too. The Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site is filled with historical gems, and you should definitely spend a few hours here in order to learn about Greenwich’s history. Where the Old Royal Navy College stands today once housed the Palace of Placentia, where King Henry VIII was born.
