Denbies Wine Estate has been making a name for English wines since the late 1980s from its gorgeous estate up in the Surrey Hills, close to Dorking. You might have heard of the impressive portfolio of on-site restaurants or even visited for a wine tasting or guided tour of the vineyards. But, those who have enjoyed the spanning views from the Gallery Restaurant or a delicious dinner in Denbies Vineyard Restaurant, probably haven't seen the site's extended offering for corporate and large-scale events.
Yes, aside from the beautiful everyday restaurants, Denbies also boasts purpose built conference and banqueting facilities which cater for up to 500 guests, as well as use of the grounds for team building, socialising, product launches and more. In fact, over the years, the team have helped organise and host every kind of event from charity dinners to exhibitions, to team off-site days and huge conferences.
The team can talk you through the extended offering but, for example, large meetings or conferences work well in the Denbies Suite which is a modern, well-lit, large room with enough space for 175 delegates seated. It has access to everything you might need such as an integrated audio system with handheld/lapel microphones, room partitions and wifi.
For presentations, try the Cinema which has space for 100 people seated and a 5 x 2.81m screen which works via projector. Or, for a really unique space there's the vaulted cellar which can be used for meetings, dinners, networking events or brand launches. The cellar can accommodate up to 120 guests for a sit down meal or 200 for canapes and drinks.
