About BRIX

A restaurant, members club and private hire space with a difference, BRIX is the third project from Michael Lythgoe and Cidalia Rodrigues - the pair behind Brixton Village Grill and Brixton's iconic hip hop venue Chip Shop. Once again, Lythgoe and Rodrigues and blending the worlds of music and food to create a multi-faceted entertainment space - this time in partnership with world-renowned DJ and producer TROYBOI.

Mere minutes from well-known London landmarks like Borough Market and the South Bank, BRIX is perfectly-placed in the heart of SE1 for those in search of a versatile space for their next event. BRIX boasts 8,500 square feet of space, broken up into different areas, so whether you're planning a birthday or a wedding gathering, a corporate event, or an album launch or a listening party, BRIX is sure to have a space for you.

The venue is broadly split across multiple levels, with various spaces available for private hire. Smaller groups should head to the more cosy, intimate parts of the venue - the private dining room, for example, has room for 20 standing and though it usually hosts dining events, it's also flexible enough to host other small gatherings and corporate networking events. Similarly, the industrial-chic Bar Lounge can host up to 45 guests and, as the name suggests, has its own dedicated bar, making this perfect for drinks parties.

If you're planning something a little larger, look towards the slick and spacious Main Dining Hall, which has room for up 120 standing guests. The same is true of the Basement Bar, though it has less capacity for sit down events, making the Main Dining Hall ideal for large dinners and banquets. Both spaces are very flexible, both in terms of layout and in terms of catering - BRIX's kitchen team is ably led by former Soho House Group chef Radek Nitkowski, and his menus take influence from New York steakhouses. Whether you're planning a multi-course sit down meal or a few canapes to go with drinks, the BRIX team are on hand to help tailor any event to suit your needs.

Testimonials For BRIX

Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5AUGUST, 2023

Wonderful welcome, such a beautifully decorated restaurant, simple yet very effortlessly relaxing with a cool vibe. When I first looked at the menu some of the descriptions of the dishes felt too much but after trying the food makes complete sense. I ordered a few sharers as I was dining alone and they do take away containers and I can't help but try abit of everything (bit of a grazer). I order the por bites, Mac and cheese, tomato salad and crushed potatoes, the Mac was missing beef which it mentioned in description (I found one piece) otherwise tasty. The pork belly was my favourite with the potatoes and tomato salad being equally as delicious. The staff was very attentive ensuring I enjoyed my order, I'm just really enjoying my time that's why I couldn't help but review while still sat enjoying my food ??. Thank you brix ldn

What a dinnerAUGUST, 2023

Fantastic staff, ambience, cocktails, and the food - so good! One of our party was gluten intolerant and they looked after her very well. The private room downstairs is incredible with a sunken bar and dj booth - there’s nothing like it near London Bridge. It’s a great place to hang out!

“Great venue with lots of potential”AUGUST, 2022

Visited Brix earlier in August for a Thursday evening catch-up with friends. Great location just off Southwark Street, which has seemingly opened fairly recently. I would say it's the perfect venue for work socials; multiple rooms, attentive staff, a large bar, and spacious seating areas. We sat down for a wine in the bar/lounge area while waiting for our table (which was ready, but they were quiet, and we were waiting for the rest of our party) and had a bottle of white, Picpoul if memory serves, and it was good. Onto the main restaurant area and it again feel spacious with high ceiling and an exposed kitchen counter as is the style these days.  Of note, there are more rooms downstairs, which appear is if they would be for private parties; and one of the smaller rooms appeared to have a display set up for something akin to wine tasting or cocktail making. In short; staff were great, the venue still a bit quiet but has a lot of potential; food was alright, drinks were good. Would happily go back

We will definitely be back!JULY, 2022

Food was fantastic, and service friendly and enthusiastic. Servers were attentive without being intrusive, with drinks and water regularly refreshed. One of our main courses was the wrong one, however this was rectified quickly and efficiently. As other reviewers have mentioned, the acoustics of the bare walls do lead to it being very loud even when there aren’t that many people in there, but it is a warehouse setting so I guess that’s to be expected. Re food, the Oxtail Doughnuts were excellent, and the chicken flatbread was amazing. The Miss Espresso cocktail was the best I’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back!
