A recent refurbishment of the venue’s Cooper’s Hall has firmly established this historic Grade I-listed building as one of the most handsome and obvious choices for corporate events in Bristol. Its central location and flexible event spaces are further reasons why it should be on your list.
The Cooper’s Hall, with its grandeur and contemporary new look, is the ideal place for a conference, gala dinner or awards ceremony. Even product launches, receptions or networking sessions would work well here.
For similar events on a bigger scale, and for some serious wow factor, we would opt for The Weston Studio or the Main Auditorium. The former is a new space housed in the oldest part of the building – the barrel cellars of Cooper’s Hall. The double-height, industrial-looking room has exposed brick walls with in-built seating lined along them (including a balcony with seating that wraps around three of the walls), forming a central open area.
The latter is on the other end of the scale as it’s a Grade I-listed Georgian auditorium and is a sight for sore eyes with its adorned ceiling, stage and balcony panels. Here you can have dinner on the stage where the likes of Daniel Day Lewis, Patrick Stewart and Judi Dench have all performed. A conference or presentation for large numbers is also easily done.
On the hunt for something smaller? The 12-guest private dining and meeting room The Foyle Room is where to go. The intimate space is decorated with warm blue walls, wooden floors and modern, mid-century furniture.
