While Bombay Sapphire is certainly famous for its gin, its distillery has become famous in its own right as an extremely versatile event and party venue. Located in the Hampshire countryside, this former paper mill uses specialised processes to make the world-famous gin. Here, visitors can learn about the gin-making process, conservation, ecology, cocktail making, tasting and more. Depending on your event, you can choose from various spaces, each with its own character and facilities.
The flagship space is The Gallery, well-suited to meetings, conferences, gala dinners, corporate events, private functions and award ceremonies for up to 200 standing guests. The Entrance Hall boasts exposed brick walls and high ceilings, ideal for dinners and supper clubs and can be combined with The Mill Bar and Terrace to host up to 180 standing guests. The Vault, meanwhile, is a much more intimate space, ideal for smaller more informal gatherings of up to 14.
For tastings, masterclasses, drinks receptions or casual meetings, the well-stocked Advocacy Bar is perfectly suited. The crown jewels of the distillery, however, are The Glasshouses. These stunning greenhouses contain all ten botanicals that are infused into Bombay Sapphire’s signature gin. They offer a truly unique setting for cocktail receptions and private dining with a twist.
If you do decide to plan a party at the distillery, the venue can provide a recommended list of caterers, a dancefloor and DJ, linen, decorations, access to explore, furniture and a dedicated event coordinator. For meetings, there are various delegate packages which include a coordinator, all-day room hire, tea and coffee, lunch, water, fruit, biscuits, AV, Wifi, flipcharts, stationery and a complimentary cocktail for good measure.
The distillery is easily accessible by train from Waterloo, with Whitchurch, Overton, Micheldever and Basingstoke stations all just a few miles away. To start planning your event, simply fill in the form on the right to enquire.
