Coupette, the brand's original cocktail bar, opened as an industry-favourite watering hole in busy Bethnal Green back in 2017. After years of being a cult spot, the Coupette team opened a second site, this time in the heart of Soho in 2023.
Coupette Atelier takes all the industry know-how of its big sister, and then brings it to another level. As atelier means workshop in French, this central London bar is a labratory of sorts, allowing the team to tinker and play with experimental drinks and food recipes, always created with a sustainable feel.
The space is super stylish and doesn't try too hard, showcasing authentic interiors and a relaxed but buzzy ambience. The beating heart of the bar is, well, the bar - a hued in a deep blue and decked out with leather, mid-century-esque bar stools. Around the space you'll find other clusters of seating and modern artworks on the walls.

As for the menus, both the food and drinks boast a contemporary twist and creative edge, often inspired by French culture and always sustainable. On the cocktail list, for example, you might spot the likes of the Peach Tisane with Hennessy, yellow peach brulee, Sonic Jin Xuan tea, RinQuinQuin, Cassia bitters and peach skins. There's also plenty of boozeless options alongside a very select wine menu.
As for food, think small plates which favour quality over quantity. For example, there's the barbequed lamb chops with crushed peas, mint gel and lamb jus, alongside chargrilled octopus with asparagus, broad beans and roasted red pepper salsa.
