Here's a riddle for you: how do you organise an unforgettable Christmas party for your team, complete with alpine theme, live music, photo booth and three-course meal, with little to no effort? It might sound near impossible but thanks to YurtBar Manchester, you can take your events planning hat off this Christmas, and let them do all the hard work instead.
YurtBar Manchester's yurt village pops up again for November and December, offering a select number of private hire bookings from week to week, and its legendary Christmas party events every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Tables have capacity for six or 12 people at a time, and the entire venue has an overall capacity of 350 people, so you're welcome to book as many tables as you need.
Inside, guests will be wowed by the yurts which are decorated in full alpine theme, from red gingham tablecloths and animal fur rugs to fairy lights and fir-decorated wooden beams. Tickets include their entry to the yurt village, a welcome drink of something festive like mulled wine or steins of beer, a three-course meal and all-night entertainment, both live and DJs to keep the party going.
The menu is nut free and offers alternatives for gluten and dairy intolerances, as well as vegetarian and vegan diners. Starters look like a festive arancini ‘snowball’ with a mayonnaise filling, topped with cranberry sauce, a dusting of parmesan and finished with a rocket garnish, followed by mains of slow cooked beef daube with buttered mash and braised sav. Finally, dessert comes in the form of an alpine sharing board with chocolate log, rich Chantilly cream, chocolate garnishes, zingy Aperol Spritz cheesecake and lemon posset pots. As for drinks, you can organise this beforehand for your group with a package or bar tab, to ensure everyone is well watered.
