We know how difficult booking the office Christmas party can be, but, if your team enjoy Japanese cuisine, we've got just the thing. Shoryu Ramen is a well-established Japanese restaurant chain, dreamed up by the team behind the Japan Centre and with branches all over London.
One of our favourites is the Liverpool Street location, which has a great space in the heart of Broadgate Circle - the purpose-built complex brimming with bars and restaurants, just shy of The City. In case you haven't been to Broadgate Circle before, this area is perfectly placed as it's only a few minutes walk from Liverpool Station, which means whether your office is based closed by in East London or further afield, both the underground and regional trains are easy to get to here.
While Shoryu Ramen Liverpool Street doesn't have a private room, the team enthusiastically welcome group bookings so you're invited to discuss booking out a collection of tables, making a corner of the restaurant your own or even taking over the entire thing. Simply drop them an email or make a call to chat it all through.
Of course, no Christmas party would be complete without great food and drinks, so let's move onto the restaurant. We think you'll like the cocktail menu which has both classic drinks like an Aperol Spritz and Pornstar Martini, as well as a collection of originals such as the Yuzu Mojito with fresh strawberries, mint, lime, homemade yuzu syrup, bacardi white rum and yuzu umeshu over crushed ice.
While Shoryu Ramen is famous for, well, ramen, if you're ordering in a large group and want to opt for smaller, sharing plates, the menu accomodates well for that, too. We suggest ordering some Shoryu Buns which are stuffed with BBQ pork and spicy fried chicken, alongside Hakata Tetsunabe Gyozas and Takoyaki - which are deep fried octupus balls. There's plenty of dishes, big and small, to keep the whole group happy.
