If you haven't heard of the Beefbar name, where have you been? Born in 2005 in Monte Carlo, Beefbar is a fresh, design-led take on the concept of a traditional steak house. It was dreamed up by Riccardo Giraudi, whose family own a high-level meat importation business and allowed him to begin selecting only the most luxurious cuts for his restaurant concept.
Fast forward to the present day, and there are Beefbar's in cities all over the world, from Paris to Tulum. Le Petit Beefbar London is the UK's first outpost and is nestled within glamorous Chelsea, not far from Sloane Square.Inside, and the decor nods to the French theme with Art Deco references, vintage posters on the walls and rich-toned furnishings.
Atmospheric lighting keeps things moody, making this a gorgeous place for an evening shindig. Indeed, the team at Le Petit Beefbar welcomes private dining bookings and this Christmas they have put together a festive menu especially.
Event bookings generally take place in the private dining suite on the building's top floor which has enough space for 18 people seated and up to 30 standing. The space boasts a stylish blue colour palette with teal wall panelling and patterned seating for a dash of personality.
If you were hoping to host a few more guests, though, you could also speak to the team about taking over the ground floor restaurant which has a capacity of 45 guests seated and 60 standing. Finally, if you're really looking to throw the party of the century, book the entire venue out for exclusive use with a total capacity of 75 seated and 100 standing.
In terms of the menu, expect small sharing plates like the signature Korean bao bun and miso spinach salad to start, alongside mains like steamed ginger sea bass and Beefbar steak wellington with roast beef fat potatoes and all the trimmings.
